World Oral Health Day
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Kalka Dental college had celebrated World Oral Health Day 2023. The Department in collaboration with Department of Periodontology organized a free dental checkup camp on 22.03.2023 at village Dungar.
1). The dental checkup of about 75 villagers was carried out. All patients requiring complex treatment was referred to Kalka Dental Hospital
2). Awareness session on importance of oral health, correct methods of oral hygiene practices , demonstration of brushing techniques was elaborated to the attendees of camp. Free Toothpaste and Education pamphlets on Oral Health was distributed among the villagers.
3). Keeping in mind the significance and campaign theme of this year ‘Be proud Of Your Mouth’ importance of maintaining good and hygienic oral health was verbally delivered through Oral Health Talk to the students and staff of Kalka Public School. To make the session more interactive, we asked few questions from the students. Following the enthusiastic participation of the students some students were appreciated.
