The Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics is committed to preserving natural dentition through preventive, restorative, and endodontic procedures. The department provides training in aesthetic restorations, smile enhancement, minimal invasive dentistry, and advanced root canal therapies.
Students are trained using rotary endodontic systems, apex locators, digital radiography, and magnification techniques. Emphasis is placed on diagnostic accuracy, precision cavity preparation, and long-term tooth preservation.
Pre-clinical phantom head laboratories prepare students before clinical postings, ensuring confidence and technical proficiency. Complex endodontic cases, retreatments, and esthetic build-ups are routinely managed under expert supervision. Research orientation and evidence-based practice remain central to the department’s philosophy.
