Dr. Panna Mangat is a preeminent Endodontist and Gold Medalist with over 18 years of clinical and academic excellence, currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Kalka Dental College, Meerut. As a globally recognized authority in her field, her academic foundation is distinguished by a BDS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College, Pune, and an MDS from M.S. Ramaiah Dental College, Bangalore, where she was awarded a Gold Medal for securing the highest marks under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Her commitment to lifelong learning is evidenced by her ongoing PhD at Manav Rachna University and her dual international Fellowships from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, USA.

In her leadership role at Kalka Dental College, Dr. Mangat oversees departmental operations while driving high-impact research, having achieved over 7,000 academic reads and an H-index of 6. She serves as a vital peer reviewer and editor for prestigious PubMed and Scopus-indexed journals, including Springer Nature, BMC Oral Health, and the Journal of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Her editorial contributions have been consistently honored, receiving the "Best Editor and Reviewer" awards for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025. her expertise spans the full spectrum of modern dentistry, from Microscopic Endodontics and complex root canal treatments to advanced Implantology and Esthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Mangat’s career is defined by a series of high-profile accolades that reflect her impact on global dental education. In 2025 alone, she was honored with the “National Charaka Award” by the IDA for “Excellence in Endodontics” and the “Best Teacher’s Award”. Her international influence was further recognized in 2024 with the "Dynamic Faculty of the Year" award at the 4th Global Education Summit in Dubai and the “Faculty Excellence Award” for Dental and Oral Health Research. These honors, alongside the “AKS Global Faculty Award” and the “Women Researcher Award”, highlight her multifaceted contributions as a clinician, educator, and scientist.

In addition to her departmental leadership at Kalka Dental College, Dr. Mangat holds significant professional responsibilities as an elected Executive Committee Member of the IACDE for 2025–2026. She is a prominent member of the Indian Endodontic Society and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where she continues to advocate for the integration of advanced technology and evidence-based protocols. Through her role as HOD, she mentors the next generation of specialists, ensuring that the highest standards of restorative excellence and ethical patient care are upheld in the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary dentistry.
