The Department of Orthodontics focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malocclusion and dentofacial irregularities. Training includes preventive, interceptive, and corrective orthodontic procedures.

Students are trained in cephalometric analysis, treatment planning, fixed and removable appliance therapy, and growth modification techniques. Emphasis is placed on facial aesthetics, occlusal harmony, and long-term stability.

The department integrates modern orthodontic materials and diagnostic tools while ensuring strong foundational knowledge of craniofacial growth and development. Regular case discussions, seminars, and clinical reviews enhance learning outcomes.
