Prof. (Dr.) Shipra Nagar is a distinguished Orthodontist and academic leader currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics at Kalka Dental College, Meerut. With over 15 years of clinical and teaching experience, she is a recognized specialist in Dentofacial Orthopaedics and a certified Invisalign practitioner. Her academic journey began at Subharti Dental College, Meerut, where she completed both her BDS and MDS, laying the foundation for a career defined by scientific rigor and clinical excellence. In addition to her institutional leadership, she serves as a Consultant Orthodontist at Shanti Gopal Hospital, Ghaziabad, and is the co-founder of Dr. Nagar’s Dental Lifeline.

A proponent of conservative and evidence-based treatment, Dr. Nagar’s clinical expertise spans fixed mechanotherapy, self-ligating systems, functional appliances, and interdisciplinary adult rehabilitation. Her international standing in the profession is underscored by her Fellowship from the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) and her active life memberships in the Indian Orthodontic Society (IOS) and the Noida Ghaziabad Orthodontic Study Group (NOSG). Dr. Nagar is also a prolific author and researcher, with numerous PubMed and SCOPUS-indexed publications to her credit, along with several academic textbooks focusing on orthodontic biomechanics, CBCT applications, and dental materials science.

Dr. Nagar is a sought-after speaker and academic evaluator, frequently invited as a guest lecturer, scientific chairperson, and course moderator at national and international forums, including the SAARC Orthodontic Conference and the Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society Convention. Her influence extends to high-level academic administration, serving as a valued examiner and evaluator for various reputed universities such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, CCS University, NIMS Jaipur, and HNB Garhwal University. Her commitment to education was formally recognized in 2023 when she was honored with the Academic Excellence Award by the Kalka Group of Institutions for her instrumental role in elevating the standards of dental pedagogy and patient care.

Beyond the clinic and classroom, Prof. Nagar is deeply committed to social responsibility and public health. Through the HASNAA Foundation and the "Smiling Bharat" campaign, she has spearheaded numerous public awareness initiatives across schools and rural areas to promote oral health literacy.
