Assistant Professor

Dr. Sharon John is currently serving as assistant professor in Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology & Oral Microbiology at kalka dental college. She is an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist and academician, actively involved in teaching, research, and diagnostic oral pathology. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from SBB dental college and subsequently pursued her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from King George’s Medical University in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology. She has multiple research publications in reputed national and international journals and has presented her scientific work at various conferences and academic forums. Her research interests include oral squamous cell carcinoma, molecular pathology, artificial intelligence in histopathology, and biomarker analysis. She is deeply passionate about academic excellence, research innovation, and mentoring students, and remains committed to advancing knowledge and improving diagnostic precision in oral pathology
