Dr. Ashish Prajapati is an accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and academician currently serving as a Reader in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Kalka Dental College & Hospital, Meerut. With a professional career defined by a commitment to surgical oncology and reconstructive excellence, Dr. Prajapati earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2012) and Master of Dental Surgery (2017) from Shree Bankey Bihari Dental College, Ghaziabad, under Chaudhary Charan Singh University. He further elevated his clinical profile by completing a prestigious Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology from the Synergy Institute of Cancer Care, Gorakhpur, in 2023.

In his nearly five years of academic and clinical experience, Dr. Prajapati has developed a specialized interest in the management of oral malignancies and complex reconstructive procedures. His research contributions are significant, including a notable comparative study on nodal involvement in oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) patients published in the Journal of Oral Biology & Craniofacial Research. More recently, in 2025, his work evaluating bone graft success and dental implant survival rates was featured in Bioinformation, reflecting his focus on evidence-based surgical outcomes and long-term patient rehabilitation.

Dr. Prajapati is a Life Member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) and is deeply passionate about the mentorship of dental undergraduates and postgraduates. At Kalka Dental College, he integrates his specialized oncological training with traditional maxillofacial surgery, providing students with unique insights into the diagnosis and surgical management of head and neck cancers.
