Dr. Shrimant Raman completed his Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics from Subharti Dental College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, in 2015. He is presently serving as a Reader in the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at Kalka Dental College. Over the course of more than eight years in academia, he has developed substantial expertise in teaching, clinical practice, and research within the specialty of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Raman has consistently demonstrated dedication to academic excellence and evidence-based clinical practice. He plays an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate education by supervising preclinical and clinical training, guiding case discussions, and mentoring students in research methodology. His systematic and patient-centered approach to treatment planning emphasizes precision, functional rehabilitation, and long-term clinical success.

He has authored and co-authored multiple research articles published in reputed indexed national and international journals. His primary research interests include CAD-CAM prosthodontics, implant surface modifications, marginal fit evaluation of prosthetic restorations, and bone grafting techniques in implant dentistry. His academic work reflects a keen interest in integrating advanced digital technologies with conventional prosthodontic principles to enhance clinical outcomes.

In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Raman actively participates in scientific conferences, workshops, and continuing dental education programs to remain updated with evolving advancements in dental materials and prosthetic techniques. Through his commitment to scholarly engagement and clinical mentorship, he continues to contribute meaningfully to the academic growth and clinical excellence of the department.
