Prof. (Dr.) Anil Sharma completed his Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics from KLE’s Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum, affiliated with Karnataka University, in 1998. With an illustrious academic career spanning over 26 years, he is presently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at Kalka Dental College, Meerut. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment to academic excellence, clinical proficiency, and institutional leadership.

As a distinguished academician and seasoned clinician, Prof. Dr. Sharma has played a pivotal role in shaping prosthodontic education and clinical training. He has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, mentoring numerous postgraduate scholars and supervising dissertations that have contributed meaningfully to the scientific community. He has chaired many  scientific sessions in Implantology and IPS conference and is an honourable member of these committees . He was in organising committee in implantology and IPS Conferences. His systematic and research-oriented teaching methodology fosters analytical thinking, precision in treatment planning, and adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols.

He has made substantial contributions to dental literature through numerous publications in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. His scholarly interests encompass implant prosthodontics, regenerative dentistry, geriatric oral rehabilitation, full-mouth reconstruction, and advanced impression techniques. Additionally, he holds patents related to innovative prosthodontic appliances, reflecting his commitment to technological advancement and translational research in dentistry.

Beyond academics and research, Prof. Dr. Sharma has been actively engaged in curriculum development, academic governance, quality assurance initiatives, and departmental administration. His profound clinical expertise, visionary leadership, and unwavering dedication to academic growth have established him as a respected authority and mentor in the field of Prosthodontics, contributing significantly to the advancement and reputation of the institution.
