Anti - Ragging Seminar
Kalka Dental College, organized a seminar on “CURBING THE MENANCE OF RAGGING IN DENTAL INSTITUTIONS” as an initiative for Anti – Ragging drive, on Friday 8th Dec 2017. Shri Anil Mehrotra, Honorary Secretary, Kalka Group of Institutions, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence. The seminar was presided over by Prof (Dr) S.K. Katharia, Executive Committee member, DCI, as the chief guest & speaker for the program. Prof (Dr) S.K. Katharia is representing DCI in the inter- council committee on Anti – Ragging in UGC as well as Dr R.K. Raghavan committee under Ministry of Human & Resource Development, Government of India. The program began with the welcome address by Dr Harvey Thomas (Principal), lamp lightening by the dignitaries on the dias, followed by the key note lecture by Prof (Dr) S.K. Katharia, where he addressed the members of Anti- ragging Committee of Kalka Dental College along with the faculty members, post – graduate students, interns & BDS students. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Director-PG studies, Dr Sumit Malhotra.
